The Tarot is a set of cards featuring 22 "major arcana" cards and 56 "minor arcana" cards divided into four suits (generally swords, batons or wands, coins or pentacles and cups).

Divinatory Tarot readings revolve around the use of the cards to gain insight into the people and situations surrounding the querent.

Things to consider before you choose a Tarot Card Reading No one can predict your future with absolute certainty. The choices you make will always have an overriding influence on your life. Tarot Card Readings suggest the most likely outcome based on the way things are currently heading. If you exercise free will and change something, you will affect the outcome (perhaps positively, perhaps negatively). The Tarot is a tool which can offer information, guidance and insight. Although it won't predict absolute outcomes or often provide a definitive "yes or no" answer, the Tarot can help you gain the perspective you need to make your own decisions, avoid pitfalls, shape outcomes to your best advantage, and give you a "head's up" about what (or who) may lie ahead.

Time is fluid, particularly when we're talking about things that haven't yet happened. As such, attempting to nail down a specific time frame is quite likely to be a lesson in futility -- at the very least, timing is highly subjective and speculative. Your reading may provide an outline of events that will unfold before your desired outcome is attained and this sequence can prove helpful when viewing the progression, but an actual date or specific time period is not often revealed.

Most importantly, you need to be certain you really do want to know the answers to the questions you are asking. If you are hoping (or needing) to hear a certain answer, and the cards do not give you that answer or guidance which can lead you to it, how will you handle this? Please do not request a reading if you are not sincerely seeking candid answers and objective guidance. Our relationship must be prefaced on honesty and trust -- if this is not present, we're wasting your money and my time. Neither of us want that!
What do you get with a Tarot Card Reading?

You will receive a digital image (.jpg) of your actual layout via email. The reading will be shown as a whole, with close-ups of each individual card in order to allow you to see your reading progress. It's the next best thing to being there! ;-)

Written descriptions will detail the interpretation and symbolism behind each card and its placement in the layout. Depending on the number of cards in the reading, the resultant document may be quite lengthy.  Unless you request otherwise, it will be sent to you in .pdf format. (available formats: .pdf, .rtf, .txt, .doc, .odt, .html)

There is no postage or shipping charge as you will be receiving your reading via email attachment.  The document you receive will be fully formatted and can be printed by you if you desire.

Should you find you have questions about your layout, answers are just an email or instant-messenger conversation away. There is no additional charge for clarifications or questions.

Transcription of your reading may take several hours to complete, please be patient! I deliberately do not charge by the hour for my services so that I will not feel compelled to rush a complicated reading nor drag out an easily discerned one.

You will not receive a cut and paste interpretation, your cards will not be chosen by or with a computer. Your reading will be presented with the same attention and detail you would receive at an in-person session.
What information is required? Provide your preferred first name or nickname together with the type of reading you are requesting and the information necessary to complete your reading. (For instance, for a specific question reading I will need to know the question; a general idea reading will require only the category in which you are seeking guidance; a life reading will require no specific information at all.)
What types of Cards are used? I use a variety of decks, basing my choice on the reading requested as well as intuition. (If a querent requests that I use a specific deck, I will.) As a general (not absolute!) rule, I prefer decks based on the Rider-Waite style. Decks I use (in no particular order) include Gilded, Mystic Faerie, Celtic Dragon, Nova, Moon Garden, New Vision, Fenestra, Universal Waite, 1JJ Swiss. The deck shown below is the Gilded Tarot.
Types of Readings

These layouts are the most often requested. There are several others available, ranging from 3-card to 48-card readings. If you don't see what you're hoping to find, please don't hesitate to ask -- odds are, I've got a layout that will give you what you want!

Just one question! This 5-card spread will give you specific guidance on a single question.
Snapshot This 7-card layout will give you insight into your personality, motivation, influences, etc. Your snapshot will change based on both internal and external influences, your present situation, etc.
General Idea Choose one: health, career, love, life. This 9-card reading will give you an overview of the chosen category in relation to your life in the present and near future. 
The Infamous "Celtic Cross" Perhaps the best known 10-card layout in the world, this spread will give you insight into a specific matter, showing how the past has brought you to the point you are at today, as well as where the future is leading in relation to the matter at hand.
Choose a Path This 10-card spread will help illuminate the positive and negative aspects of your options between two or more paths.
What should I do? A 13-card spread which will provide insight and an overview of the upcoming six to twelve months as relates to a specific question, situation or issue.
What lies ahead? This 21-card spread will give you an overview of the next six to eighteen months in your life.
